Lisa Grafstein

Lisa’s legislative priorities include the economy, healthcare, voting rights, education, and climate. She knows that the climate crisis calls for bold and immediate action, and she is committed to implementing innovative solutions. In her second term, Lisa will advocate for increased investments in renewable energy, further development of public transit systems, and to incentivize the shift to solar energy in the private sector. Lisa understands the importance of reinstating the Renewable Energy Investment Tax Credit, and she will center environmental justice in her work to address the climate crisis.

Lisa Grafstein is a civil rights lawyer who believes in making a difference through public service. She received her bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and went on to receive a JD from the University of North Carolina. She ran her own firm for sixteen years before joining Disability Rights North Carolina– a nonprofit organization that advocates on behalf of people with disabilities. Lisa was first elected to the North Carolina Senate in 2022, and she is running for reelection to continue investing in her community.
